Our First round of cigars are in….

Evan chose the Velvet Elvis Toro for our first smoke and Dave picked a Jericho Hill Lancero

The Velvet Elvis is a medium/full bodied cigar that is a love-fest of corojo tobaccos. The corojo is from just about every region in Nicaragua (Esteli, Jalapa, Condesa, etc).

The Jericho Hill boasts a dark and sultry Mexican San Andres wrapper, Nicaraguan long-fillers and binder. This is a special edition size called “12 Honest Men”. Some of ya’ll may have tried the other sizes at The Cigar Club in Madison, TN.

The Velvet Elvis we may be able to order again if we like enough as a group.

For the Jericho Hill cigar, Patricia can order into the shop if enough of us would like for her to keep on hand.

Please reply to the posting so that we can see each others feedback as you smoke the cigars.

Also, look around for other cigars yourselves when travelling around this Summer. If you see something you like then take a picture and send to us along with the name or manufacturer. Then I will look and see if we can order for the group to try.

I hope you enjoy the smokes. Sometimes we may run across a dud and many times we may find things that we really like. The point in trying something different is to see what is out there(to smoke guys and gals). NO FREAKY BUSINESS!

I’m glad all of you wanted to participate. We actually have 16 members right now, so the group is closed to adding anymore at this point. That way we will be able to fulfill all the orders in the future.

Because we jumped from 9 to 16 in the day after I had already placed the cigar order, I was not able to fulfill all the orders. The guys that paid did get their full order though. So really let me know what you like in this round because I am not trying the smokes. No worries, that is part of starting a group.
